Ever stepped into a freezing bathroom on a January morning? It’s the worst. You’re shivering, the tiles feel like ice, and you’re just trying to wake up. That’s where mirror infrared heaters come in. Unlike those old-school heaters that try to warm up all the air in the room (which takes forever), these things beam heat directly at you. It’s like having a little piece of sunlight right in front of the mirror. Why it feels different Most of these heaters use quartz tubes filled with halogen gas. I won’t bore you with the textbook physics, but basically, they hit their top temperature in seconds. There’s no waiting around for a fan to kick in or for the air to circulate. The second the power hits, you feel the warmth on your skin. It’s instant. Making it “Smart” Now, flipping a switch is fine, but automating the whole thing is where it gets really nice. If the cables are too thin, you’re going to end up tripping your breakers or dealing with voltage drops, which is a headache nobody needs. And one last tip—don’t rely solely on the app or the software. We always add a physical overheat protector (a bimetallic switch).
